Noticeable Effects
In “Noticeable Effects,” we re-imagine the Beaufort wind force scale, an empirical measure for weather forecasting, as a gauge for disturbances in human relationships. Substituting the scale’s traditional markers —the noticeable effects of wind on land and at sea—with the effects on the body and the home, we allow readers to imagine how the psyche is influenced by weather conditions.
